Andreina Lujan Toro, RMT
Andreina studied physiotherapy at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, where she acquired experience working with athletes, senior patients, chronic injuries, and patients with neurological or musculoskeletal conditions.
Graduating from the Massage Therapy Intensive Program at Algonquin College with honors in 2012, she offers a broad multi-disciplinary background in complementary health care to assist in the assessment and treatment of your acute injuries or chronic pain.
Andreina has treated clients with varied conditions including musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain and neurological affections, as well as preventive massage for athletes, pregnant women and elderly. She has experience working with children and adults. Her interest in providing the most effective therapy has motivated her to seek out specialized methods to evaluate her clients in a comprehensive way. This assists her in delivering a more targeted and accurate treatment tailored to your specific needs, with an expectation of more effective results from the therapy.
Andreina specializes in assessments and treatments to prevent and rehabilitate injuries. She has undertaken extensive post-graduate training to assist her in providing a thorough and complete assessment, which leads to a more effective treatment regimen. This specialized training includes Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). These two modalities are focused on assessing the functionality of the body to better tailor the treatment towards the root cause of the client’s physical problem.
